LIHOTEC Private Label Selects Pegasus Solutions’ RezView® NG CRS and NetBooker® NG Booking Engine
 
 



Agreement also includes Reselling Utell Connect in Central and Eastern Europe

DALLAS (August 18, 2009) – International hospitality solutions specialist LIHOTEC has selected Pegasus Solutions as the exclusive provider of reservations and booking technology for its private label service offering, which represents hundreds of hotels worldwide. In addition to harnessing the industry-leading technology of Pegasus’ RezView® NG central reservation system (CRS) and NetBooker® NG booking engine, LIHOTEC has also negotiated a reselling agreement for Utell Connect to provide greater distribution options to hotels in Central and Eastern Europe under its Libra Hospitality brand.

 “We evaluated various enterprise CRS, booking and distribution options, but Pegasus’ reservations, booking and distribution technology demonstrated the most agile and powerful options for our customers,” said Olga Balba, general manager of LIHOTEC. “The industry is speeding towards greater integration, which this agreement helps us achieve for our small- and medium-sized Libra Hospitality customers worldwide, whether they are seeking a full menu of technology solutions or the best options a la carte.”

 Additionally, Libra Hospitality will resell Utell Connect in emerging Eastern European markets, which will make distribution more accessible for hotels in the region working to gain global visibility and compete more effectively. Utell Connect allows hotels to join the world’s largest collection of electronically bookable hotels in Pegasus’s Online Distribution Database (ODD). The ODD is used internationally by online travel agencies (OTAs), corporate travel departments and tour operators. Hotels in these developing markets can also leverage NetBooker® NG to drive bookings on their own Web sites.

It was developed based on the stability of Pegasus’ RezView classic, which boasts an industry-leading 99.997 percent availability and response times averaging under a tenth of a second.
